Overview

The Senior Program Officer will work with colleagues and partners to develop and implement strategies that strengthen movements and advance pro-democracy efforts, focusing on supporting Black communities.

• Location: NYC (hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days remote).
• Salary range: $183,000 - $203,000.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in community organizing or related fields.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong understanding of movement strategy and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead strategy and manage projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with grantmaking is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel (anticipated 35%).
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Passion for social justice and Freedom Together’s mission.
