Overview

The Senior Attorney position at Freedom Together Foundation involves advising staff and conducting legal research to support the Foundation’s program areas, focusing on grant agreements and compliance.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience.
• Admitted to practice in New York State.
• Experience with philanthropic contracts preferred.
• Understanding of nonprofit advocacy and social justice.
• Ability to manage sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborative team player with diverse backgrounds.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent project management abilities.
