• Own the software development life cycle for small-scale complexity features
• Actively participate in the software design activities for projects across the team
• Proactively develop expertise in the team’s areas of responsibility
• Act as a resource for product on technical feasibility and complexity analysis for small features
• Promptly address bugs and incidents, and consistently be accessible during core hours
• Mission-driven company focused on financial opportunity for underserved small businesses
• Flexibility in work location and hours

Requirements

• Proficiency with at least one modern programming language (Ruby, Javascript, Python, Golang, etc.)
• Experience with Ruby preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of software design patterns
• Typically has 2 or more years of experience in agile software development
• Typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, a certificate from a coding bootcamp, or additional relevant experience
