Foodics is looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about building phenomenal Android experiences and excited to push mobile technologies to the limits to create the next generation of Foodics mobile applications.

In Short

• Work in a hands-on capacity within a remote mobile development team.
• Design and build advanced app features and components for the Android platform.
• Implement Object-Oriented and functional programming design principles.
• Collaborate with product management & UX to execute ideas from concept to delivery.
• Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify bottlenecks in existing workflows.
• Participate in testing and code documentation activities.
• Engage in peer code reviews and pair programming.
• This is a remote job that does not require relocation.

Requirements

• Experience in Android development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented and functional programming.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
• Experience with software design and coding best practices.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with UX principles.
• Experience in testing and code documentation.
