Foley is looking for an exceptional Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in Software Architecture, Delivery Automation, and foundational programming patterns and practices to help bring Foley forward in its software development and deployment practices.

In Short

• Key driver in setting the direction of software architecture.
• Evaluate current and prospective tools and technologies.
• Mentor and coach teammates on high-quality software development.
• Help establish a plan for improving technological footprint.
• Directly manage 2-3 engineers.
• Work across technology groups for design and development.

Requirements

• Exceptional grasp of fundamental engineering concepts.
• Experience in Scrum or Agile development.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent understanding of .NET software in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and patterns.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
• Working knowledge of container and orchestration technologies.
• Strong understanding of various database products.
