In Short

• The Device SRE team is responsible for the automation of software build, release, deployment, and monitoring for the Devices team.
• We are expanding our capacity to automate software builds and releases to accommodate demand from our quickly growing portfolio of IoT devices.
• We are migrating most of our existing Jenkins workflows to GitHub Actions.
• We seek candidates with a systems-oriented mindset and a passion for build automation.
• Experience with embedded software and systems engineering is required.
• Strong coding skills in Python, C, C++, or other scripting languages are essential.
• Expertise in build automation and continuous integration tools is necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and IoT device management is a plus.

• Salary range is $150,000 - $200,000 per year.

Requirements

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and firmware development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++.
• Familiarity with build automation and CI tools like Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with telemetry and monitoring of embedded systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud computing and IoT device management.
• Understanding of site reliability engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
