Senior Software Engineer - Data and Analytics - Remote

Overview

The Engineering team at Fleetio is expanding and has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Core engineering team. In this role, you will focus on delivering insights to Fleetio customers via reports and dashboards in a delightful and performant user experience. You will produce high-quality features and help design and scale our data and analytics products. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to plan, design, and drive the implementation of cohesive solutions in core areas of our reporting platform.

You will influence the following areas: software architecture, analytics dashboards, standard reports, custom reports, API design, Quality Assurance, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack development.
• Experience with SQL and optimizing complex queries.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work with data to build insights and analytics solutions.
• Experience integrating 3rd-party tools and APIs.
• Passion for solving business problems with scalable architecture.
