Software Engineer, Data Analytics - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer with a Data Analytics focus at Glydways, you will develop our data platform and facilitate data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

In Short

• Develop tooling and processes for autonomy software.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.
• Ensure data quality through testing and validation.
• Collaborate on performance metrics.
• Deliver insights through reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive, dbt).
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Argo Workflows).
• Experience with multi-language build systems (e.g. Bazel, CMake) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Proficiency with configuration languages (e.g. YAML, CUE).
• (Bonus) Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
