Remarketing Associate II - Remote

Overview

The Associate II, Remarketing supports the resale of repossessed collateral property to maximize returns and mitigate losses while in compliance with internal policies and procedures and legal requirements for repossessed property.

In Short

• Conduct skip tracing to obtain contact information for delinquent/defaulted members.
• Draft, distribute, and monitor letters, notices, and forms ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in department projects and initiatives as required.
• Assist with the maintenance of Remarketing procedures and processes.
• Obtain possession of assigned vehicles, boats, and RVs.
• Facilitate reinstatements or redemptions when necessary.
• Work assigned queues and make collection attempts when necessary.
• Review titles and process for sale at auction.
• Follow up on titles with state DMV.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor service levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in vehicle financing and/or sales.
• Basic knowledge of FDCPA is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Strong business communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive documents professionally.
• Good research, problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial industry functions, products & services is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
