Director of Risk Operations - Remote

Overview

The Director Risk Operations is responsible for the planning, documentation, and maturation of the enterprise risk management programs, with particular focus on the operational risk and vendor risk elements of the program.

• Implement, manage, and mature the enterprise risk strategy and program.

• Create and deliver a business plan and strategy in alignment with directives.
• Develop metrics, reporting, and dashboards for risk reporting.
• Evaluate regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Participate on committees for risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in risk management, financial industry experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading risk management professionals.
• Ability to drive projects and change management in a complex environment.
• Confidence to make decisions in ambiguous circumstances.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to establish credibility with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with risk management software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Relevant industry standard certifications preferred.
