Overview

As a Vulnerability Engineer at First Advantage, you will play a critical role in enhancing the organization's security posture by analyzing vulnerabilities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.

In Short

• Perform recurring and on-demand scanning of organizational systems and cloud environments.
• Research and assess emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Communicate the risks of identified vulnerabilities and recommend security controls.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams for remediation plans.
• Monitor and track remediation efforts to meet SLAs.
• Maintain documentation regarding vulnerability management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability management or related fields.
• Experience in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of information security.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and automation.
• Experience with IT controls monitoring.
• Knowledge of visualization tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl or Python.
• Professional certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP.
