Senior Billing Specialist - Remote

Overview

First Advantage is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Billing Specialist to join our Transportation Department. This role is critical to maintaining accurate and timely billing operations and ensuring all transportation-related receivables are properly coded and processed in Oracle.

In Short

• Process monthly Fleet Vehicle Service Fee billing accurately and on schedule.
• Handle special fleet invoice requests as needed.
• Manage end-of-month Geotab billing and ensure accuracy.
• Perform end-of-month transportation accruals.
• Research and respond to billing inquiries from clients.
• Collaborate directly with clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with month-end close processes to ensure financials are completed accurately and timely.
• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Associate degree in accounting preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant accounting or accounts receivable experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions).
• Experience with Oracle Financials is a strong plus.
• Key Competencies: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and interact professionally with clients.
