AR/Collections Representative - Remote

Overview

The AR/Collections Representative will manage outstanding customer balances, initiate contact with clients regarding overdue invoices, and ensure timely collection of payments while maintaining positive client relationships.

In Short

• Monitor aging reports and identify delinquent accounts
• Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve billing disputes
• Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with the billing and sales teams to resolve account discrepancies
• Escalate unresolved accounts to management or third-party collection agencies as needed

Requirements

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and tact
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to work graveyard shifts and during Philippine holidays
