Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Overview

As Finary's first Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be the cornerstone of our technical infrastructure, ensuring our platform remains highly available, performant, and secure for our customers.

In Short

• Design and maintain high-availability architectures in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, particularly Kubernetes.
• Proficient with infrastructure as code tools, especially Terraform.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Implement observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Track reliability metrics (SLOs/SLIs/SLAs) that align with business goals.
• Handle production incidents calmly and methodically.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams while maintaining independence and ownership.
• Make pragmatic operational decisions balancing ideal solutions with business needs.

Requirements

• Experience as the first or founding SRE in a fast-growing company.
• Experience with fintech or financial systems where reliability is critical.
• Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs without sacrificing performance.
• Mentoring developers on reliability best practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
