Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team, responsible for managing application reliability and performance, while collaborating effectively with various teams.

• Analyze application reliability, performance, and availability.
• Monitor deployment issues and address performance or security problems.
• Manage the backlog of tasks proactively and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication with teams responsible for different application journeys.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps/SRE.

Requirements

• Experience as an SRE and understanding of metrics.
• Experience in monitoring backend Java applications.
• Solid experience in FinOps and cost management in cloud environments.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos.
• Experience with AWS platforms (ECS, EKS) and/or Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience in Linux.
• Knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and Splunk (desirable).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Code Build, Code Pipeline).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Performance testing and stress testing experience.
