Legal Associate - Remote

Overview

As a Legal Associate at Finalis, you will be a critical member of the Legal team, supporting the company's legal operations and helping ensure compliance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements.
• Maintain, organize, and update contract templates and legal documentation.
• Support contract lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Act as a liaison across teams to align legal workflows with business priorities.
• Monitor and interpret relevant legal developments.
• Help maintain Finalis’ centralized Document Management System.
• Support training and onboarding sessions to improve legal literacy.
• Engage in moderate complexity negotiations with clients.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal operations.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of legal experience.
• Licensed attorney with strong knowledge of U.S. commercial law.
• Experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Google Workspace; familiarity with legal ops tools is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented team player.
