Overview

As a Web Developer at Figma, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our web platform, collaborating with a multi-functional team to develop and maintain Figma's marketing site and other web-based projects.

In Short

  • Core contributor to back-end and front-end development of Figma's marketing website.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Growth, Brand, and SEO teams.
  • Design scalable web architecture in partnership with Security and Infrastructure teams.
  • Lead projects end-to-end, maintaining timelines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Mentor team members and support onboarding of new hires.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Work with a variety of modern web technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of development experience using React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript.
  • 3+ years of experience in frameworks like NextJS and Gatsby.
  • Experience with headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful).
  • Understanding of site security and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with QA and testing methodologies.
