Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

In Short

• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to plan features.
• Build, document, and maintain tests, features, and infrastructure.
• Communicate and document architectural designs and requirements.
• Provide feedback and facilitate learning spaces.
• Help interview and recruit talented engineers.
• Modularize C++/Wasm engine for new features.
• Extend multiplayer protocols for advanced editing.
• Create frameworks for performance and memory standards.
• Optimize file load times and client-server protocols.
• Improve renderer for better frame rates.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with web frontend frameworks or C++/Wasm.
• Experience with game engines and client-side technologies.
• Coding fluency in languages like Typescript, C++, React, etc.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
