Overview

The Store Parts Professional at NAPA provides prompt and courteous service to customers, ensuring they receive the right parts efficiently and accurately.

In Short

• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in-store.
• Look up parts applications using catalogs or POS systems.
• Process customer orders with high accuracy.
• Assist customers with technical questions and issues.
• Maintain knowledge of products, warranties, and sales programs.
• Implement sales practices to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with stock orders.
• Work retail hours as assigned by management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Ability to understand part numbers and line codes.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• ASE Parts Specialist certification preferred.
• Knowledge of the local area and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Familiarity with TAMS POS system is a plus.
• Ability to process various payment transactions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
