Overview

The Distribution Center Class Clerk is responsible for processing returned merchandise, ensuring accuracy in shipments, and maintaining production goals while adhering to safety requirements.

In Short

• Processes returns of classified merchandise to the Stockroom.
• Completes and submits paperwork related to class returns.
• Checks shipments for accuracy and reports issues to supervisors.
• Restocks classified parts in designated areas quickly and accurately.
• Meets production goals and reports location problems.
• Ensures daily housekeeping duties are completed.
• Communicates effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Operates AS400 and JD Edwards systems.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Complies with safety requirements and operates heavy equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 6 months prior work experience.
• Forklift certified.
• Able to communicate clearly and listen attentively.
• Ability to use AS400 and JD Edwards systems.
• Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
