Distribution Center Shipping Associate - Remote

Overview

The Distribution Center Shipping Associate is responsible for staging products, recording shipments, and ensuring timely processing of orders while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

In Short

• Stages products by trip/route number and location.
• Uses an electronic scanner to record products.
• Loads products onto trucks for overnight shipments.
• Consolidates orders from zones to designated stores.
• Ensures compliance with safety rules, including hazardous materials.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Prepares and reconciles overnight UPS shipments.
• Handles merchandise up to 60 lbs and pushes/pulls up to 300 lbs.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Works in varying climate conditions and noisy environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 6 months prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification is a must.
• Able to lift and move merchandise of up to 60 lbs.
• Capable of bending or stooping to reach shelves.
• Able to stand and walk for entire work shift.
• Must comply with company policies and procedures.
