Overview

The Insolvency Administrator will manage Division 1 proposal and Ordinary bankruptcy files, ensuring compliance and effective communication with creditors and stakeholders.

In Short

  • Administer Division 1 and Ordinary bankruptcy estates.
  • Prepare necessary documentation using Word and Excel.
  • Input file information into Ascend and CRM databases.
  • Schedule meetings of creditors and negotiate proposals.
  • Monitor payments and proposal terms.
  • Prepare reports for court applications and hearings.
  • Assist with inquiries from creditors and debtors.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with insolvency regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience in Division 1 proposals and bankruptcy administration.
  • Background in accounting or legal fields preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills for account activity assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with insolvency software (Ascend) is a plus.
