Overview

The Manager of Revenue Cycle – Physician Partnerships & Collections Optimization plays a critical leadership role within our ophthalmology organization, ensuring strategic alignment between revenue cycle functions and physician operations. This role is responsible for serving as a proactive liaison between the revenue cycle team and medical providers.

In Short

  • Optimize collections at the point-of-service.
  • Oversee performance of point-of-service collections.
  • Implement automated payment solutions.
  • Provide real-time analytics and feedback to providers.
  • Manage onboarding tasks for new practices and physicians.
  • Educate providers on KPIs and financial benchmarks.
  • Analyze collections performance and recommend solutions.
  • Compile monthly reporting for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to support clean claim submissions.
  • Drive accountability and transparency in RCM operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Experience in physician-facing roles during acquisitions or onboarding.
  • Strong understanding of credentialing processes and payer regulations.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial KPIs.
  • Experience with call centers and automated payment solutions.
  • Project management experience using Gantt chart tools.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
