Overview

At Experian, you will simplify the use and integration of Experian's products by creating valuable content for both developers and everyday users, ensuring our documentation reflects the highest quality and fosters trust.

In Short

• Work with engineering and product teams to create documentation for new product features, API updates, and integrations.
• Develop long-term content strategies that organize and make documentation easily discoverable for developers.
• Ensure content accuracy and clarity by conducting regular content reviews and maintaining high documentation standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure documentation meets user needs.
• Establish writing best practices for internal and external documentation.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing content and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, especially within B2B SaaS environments.
• Experience translating complex concepts into concise documentation.
• Expertise in API documentation and an understanding of software development processes.
• Proficiency with tools such as Markdown, Git, and JIRA.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience writing about backend languages like Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java.
• Experience with documentation generation tools and automation.
• Understanding of user experience principles and accessibility in technical writing.
• Experience with large-scale information architecture projects.
