Overview

The Head of Experian Consumer Services will develop and lead the product strategy for Experian's consumer services, focusing on enhancing user experiences and driving product growth within the financial services sector.

  • Lead the end-to-end product vision and roadmap from discovery to launch.
  • Advance Up powered by Experian, ensuring integration into the broader data strategy.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and planning for new value propositions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor product performance through key metrics and analytics.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop the ECS South African team.
  • Take ownership of the product's P&L.
  • Drive positive portrayal of the ECS brand on public platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business/Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager in Financial Services.
  • Experience launching products from concept through release.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Lean environments.
  • Experience in mentoring product managers or product owners.
  • Knowledge of financial services and the South African consumer landscape.
  • Understanding of data privacy and consumer rights.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in subprime markets is advantageous.
