Cloud Data Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Cloud Data Security Engineer at Experian, you will help strengthen our security posture, safeguard sensitive data, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while launching our Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) program.

In Short

• Lead the implementation of security measures within our DSPM program.
• Operationalize data governance including data loss prevention, encryption, and access controls in the cloud.
• Participate in security audits and monitoring to identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to inform data defense strategies.
• Implement security frameworks across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Document data flows, usage patterns, and access controls for sensitive data.
• Integrate data defense principles into the broader security strategy.
• Provide training and best practices for security awareness.
• Work with various teams to enhance overall security measures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, or IT infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DSPM, data encryption, access control, and security monitoring tools.
• Industry Cloud Certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Familiarity with data protection regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
• Experience with deployment orchestration and security configuration management.
• Experience with secure software development and identity management.
• Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent.
