Senior Scrum Master - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team at EX Squared in Latin America. This position is key to guiding our development teams in the effective application of the Scrum framework, ensuring high-quality deliveries and promoting collaborative, self-organized, and highly productive work environments.

In Short

• Lead the implementation of Scrum and ensure its correct application in the team.
• Facilitate agile events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
• Manage schedules, remove impediments, and anticipate risks of delay.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to align priorities, dependencies, and product progress.
• Ensure the quality of the development process through solid version and release management practices.
• Drive a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and constant value delivery.
• Promote understanding of the agile framework throughout the team, acting as a mentor and facilitator.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Over 5 years of experience in the role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented architecture and microservices.
• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Mastery of the software development life cycle (SDLC/PDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
• Practical focus on delivering results, with the ability to work in distributed teams.
