Senior Backend Software Engineer - Remote

EveryMatrix is a leading B2B SaaS provider delivering iGaming software, content and services. We provide casino, sports betting, platform and payments, and affiliate management to 200 customers worldwide.

In Short

• Architect and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain Node.js microservices.
• Work closely with product managers, front-end engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Take ownership of technical projects and lead a small team of engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year in a senior/lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js.
• University technical degree.
• Solid experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Expertise in building scalable systems, microservices, and designing RESTful APIs.
• Advanced English skills in speaking and writing.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles and software architecture.
• Bonus points if you are familiar with real-time monitoring systems and tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and experience with event-driven architecture or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
