Overview

The Senior Meeting Planner is responsible for the independent planning and executing virtual and live events, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.

In Short

• Coordinate all program logistics for live and virtual events.
• Manage small meetings and assist with larger meetings.
• Handle audience generation and attendee data management.
• Process healthcare professional payments and vendor invoices.
• Prepare attendee spend reports for compliance.
• Update meeting materials and coordinate distribution.
• Arrange ground transportation for attendees.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with project teams.
• Work outside standard hours when necessary.
• Travel may be required up to 35%.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or 4 years in a pharmaceutical hospitality role.
• Minimum 2-3 years meeting planning experience.
• CMP Certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Cvent and other registration systems.
• Experience executing virtual meetings.
• Knowledge of the event planning industry.
• Strong accounting and negotiation skills.
• Open to travel up to 35% of the year.
