In Short

• Lead and manage the coding team to ensure compliance with coding requirements.
• Oversee client-facing coding team for successful product adoption.
• Drive team behaviors for successful product deployment.
• Monitor client data for improvement action plans.
• Coach team members for client satisfaction and outcomes.
• Improve code rule development to mitigate client risk.
• Stay updated on coding guidelines and industry trends.
• Serve as a point of escalation for client issues.
• Report on product development to leadership.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams for enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field with coding certification.
• Certification: PCC and/or CIC required, CCS preferred.
• 5+ years of inpatient coding experience required.
• Experience in coding consulting role preferred.
• Strong persuasion and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to travel up to 40% as necessary.
