Cash Applications Representative - Remote

Overview

The Cash Applications Representative is responsible for the daily cash application, balancing, and depositing of EvergreenHealth's dollars, as well as posting adjustments on all accounts assigned to the PFS department.

In Short

• Applies, enters, balances and deposits cash received daily.
• Posts payments, adjustments and contractual allowances.
• Balances cash and contractual adjustments following procedures.
• Dispositions accounts correctly for follow-up.
• Marks paper remittances for routing.
• Follows up on cash application issues.
• Reviews remittance advices for accuracy.
• Performs daily cash reconciliation.
• Detail oriented with strong typing and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Detail oriented.
• Typing and keyboarding required (minimum 50 wpm).
• Ability to deal effectively with all levels of the institution.
• Vocational training or college degree preferred.
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles.
• Data entry experience.
• Previous cash application experience.
