The Clinical Documentation Improvement Partner is responsible for partnering with physician offices to assist in translating healthcare documentation into standardized codes, ensuring accurate coding and billing of patient encounters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Coding credentials such as CPC, CRC, or CCS.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy.
• Familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex medical records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail for accuracy.
• Familiarity with EHR and CDI software.
