Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist will work with client facilities remotely from a home office to analyze and interpret medical record documentation and formulate appropriate physician queries to improve the quality, completeness and accuracy of the medical record.

Requirements

• CCDS or CDIP certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• RN or BSN preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ CDI experience.
• Ability to communicate collaboratively with medical staff.
• Basic proficiency with email and MS Office.
• Basic proficiency with remote connectivity tools.
• Familiarity with video conference technology.
