Commercial Counsel I - Remote

Overview

Eventbrite is seeking a highly motivated team player with a passion for technology commercial contracts to serve as Commercial Counsel I. You will manage a diverse set of stakeholders and deal structures in customer, vendor, and partner contracts.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, and partner agreements.
• Provide legal counsel regarding contractual rights and issues.
• Develop and maintain playbooks and processes for team efficiency.
• Coordinate internal projects and drive cross-functional efforts.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant developments.
• Collaborate closely with various business units including sales and engineering.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Problem-solve on a variety of legal matters.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar.
• 4-5 years of experience in a global law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience supporting a sales team.
• Experience with SaaS contracts and data protection terms.
• Strong negotiation and legal writing skills.
