Overview

The Technical Director serves as a technical resource for Eurofins’ personnel and clients, focusing on analytical methods and process improvements in laboratory operations.

In Short

• Acts as a resource to laboratory personnel for technical guidance.
• Trains and mentors associates in the laboratory.
• Ensures adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
• Solves technical problems and develops methods as needed.
• Performs sample analyses and final data reviews.
• Maintains and repairs analytical instruments.
• Consults with clients regarding technical aspects of analyses.
• Implements process improvements for productivity.
• Develops and amends department SOPs.
• Manages technical projects and prepares reports for management.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in an analytical laboratory.
• PFAS Testing experience is required.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership and team-building abilities.
• Self-motivation and adaptability.
• Ability to learn new techniques and technologies.
