Scientist, LC/GC Interpretation - Remote

Overview

EAG Laboratories is seeking a Scientist for the Medical Device team to assist in data interpretation of LCMS and GCMS instruments, primarily focusing on organic chemistry testing.

In Short

• Conduct data interpretation for GCMS and LCMS instruments.
• Evaluate label claims of consumer products.
• Perform contaminant identification and testing of medical devices.
• Collaborate with clients for FDA approval processes.
• Utilize software such as Compound Discoverer and Mass Hunter.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
• Work primarily on-site with some remote flexibility.
• Requires attention to detail and critical observation.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists.
• Participate in career development programs.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or related field.
• 3+ years (MS) or 1+ year (PhD) of industry experience.
• Experience with LCMS and/or GCMS data interpretation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of method development and validation processes.
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment.
