Scientist, LC/GC Interpretation | Medical Device - Remote

Overview

The Scientist for the Medical Device team at EAG Laboratories will assist in data interpretation of GCMS and LCMS instruments, supporting clients in the approval process of medical devices.

In Short

• Conduct data interpretation for LCMS and GCMS analyses.
• Collaborate with the analytical team on various testing projects.
• Evaluate label claims and identify contaminants in consumer products.
• Provide insights for FDA approval processes for medical devices.
• Utilize software tools like Compound Discoverer and Mass Hunter.
• Work in a high-throughput laboratory environment.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience for MS or 1+ year for PhD.
• Experience in LCMS and/or GCMS data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and critical observation skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and standards.
