Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Finance Analytics Intern to join our teams in Des Moines Iowa and Madison, WI. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying data analytics to financial processes and decision-making.

In Short

• Work with Presidents and Business Unit Managers to prepare company-wide performance presentations.
• Prepare studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, and operational metrics.
• Monitor and interpret actual financial data results against plans and budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial data.
• Assist in collecting and organizing financial data.
• Perform basic statistical analyses and create financial models.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using data visualization tools.
• Collaborate with team members to identify trends in financial data.
• Participate in ad-hoc analysis projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
• Reside within a commutable distance to Des Moines, IA lab.
