Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Application Support Engineer to become a valued member of our successful team. The role involves supporting internal IT application users with application uptime and requests, requiring interaction with users globally.

In Short

Support internal IT application users with uptime and requests.
Respond to incidents and handle support requests for various technologies.
Participate in project responsibilities and own small projects.
Responsible for the general health of the support queue.
Participate in a team 24×5 weekly rotation.
Deep understanding and technical expertise in a hands-on environment.
Experience with Azure, AWS, and cloud development is a plus.
5-8 years experience in Application Support.
Strong skills in Unix/Linux and Java fundamentals.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Requirements

5-8 years experience in Application Support.
Knowledge of ITIL framework.
Strong in Unix/Linux and Java fundamentals.
Experience with Cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn and perform in a small team.
