Ecommerce Risk Operations Analyst - Remote

At ESW, Ecommerce Risk prevention is a key value add to our business. Our goal is to provide shoppers with a seamless checkout experience not impacted by the friction created by bad actors. In order to continue to do so at a high level of success we need passionate and talented Ecom Risk ops analysts to complement the cutting-edge technology we have at hand.

The successful candidate will be tasked with investigating high-risk transactions and market patterns in order to detect and mitigate fraud and risk while keeping losses low and limiting the impact on good customers.

In Short

• Subject matter expert in transactional fraud prevention and wider risk in eCommerce
• Organization and resolution of escalations from Retailers and the wider business.
• Support, educate and reinforce the consistent investigative process flow.
• Support and drive process improvement to further enhance investigation accuracy and resolutions.
• Teach, educate, coach colleagues through a variety of investigation complexities
• Assess trends and processes to drive positive outcomes for investigation resolution
• To analyze and report on fraud trends and create an efficient feedback loop to the wider team and management.
• Transactions monitoring and anomaly detection.
• To assist in the design and implementation of new products and processes.

Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in fraud prevention or AML.
• Experience in handling Refund/Return abuse prevention.
• Competitive individual, driven by key goals.
• Analytically minded.
• Experience in identity verification.
• Passion for investigative work.
• Team player – invested in overall performance.
• Decisive, ability to make high quality decisions in a timely manner.
• Effective communicator able to adjust to meet the needs of different audiences.
• Understanding of fraud in e-commerce.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders in pressure situations.
