Senior Solution Architect - ArcGIS - Remote

Overview

As a Sr. Solution Architect, you will partner directly with utility customers to engage, create, and design proven and advanced ArcGIS enterprise system solutions through complex and diverse Professional Services engagement activities. You will be working closely with Esri customers and partners in a hands-on capacity to design solutions that meet specific business and technical needs and make utility customers successful while evangelizing the utilization of GIS. In addition, you will participate in and be a leader within the Esri community in terms of project approach and ArcGIS architecture-related topics.

• Design and implement innovative and impactful ArcGIS platform-based strategies and solutions.
• Define business continuity for on-premises and cloud deployments.
• Translate customer system requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
• Advise customers on innovative solutions using Esri technology.
• Recommend strategies and prepare software implementation and migration strategies.
• Work with customers to design and certify key GIS workflows.
• Develop multi-year IT/GIS strategies for technology change.
• Act as a mentor and guide for less experienced colleagues.
• Lead all stages of the implementation process.
• Plan and script ArcGIS platform deployment automation.

Requirements

• 12+ years in GIS platform architecture and solution design.
• 5+ years of experience applying GIS technology in utilities.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, RDBMS, and programming/scripting.
• Knowledge of integrating GIS with ERP, EAM, CRM, SCM systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Mathematics, or related field.
