Overview

Esper is looking for an experienced Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling our robust cloud infrastructure.

In Short

• Contribute to the development of core software systems for engineering.
• Work with engineering leaders to address core technical concerns.
• Enable developers to integrate with infrastructure systems.
• Produce extensive documentation of core infrastructure systems.
• Develop tooling and automation for developer efficiency.
• Contribute to all areas of Esper's cloud infrastructure.
• Support security best practices and compliance audits.
• 3+ years in Platform, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or Rust.

Requirements

• Experience with automation and internal tools development.
• Desire to own critical infrastructure components.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS, GitOps, IDPs, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Expertise in cloud architecture best practices.
