Senior Automation Tester / Software Tester - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Software Tester / Automation Tester to actively contribute to the improvement of our software products. In this role, you will work closely with your team on exploratory testing, test automation, and maintaining test cases. You will also collaborate closely with our development and QA teams to ensure top-notch software quality.

• Conduct exploratory tests to identify weaknesses and potential issues.
• Plan, execute, and document regression and acceptance tests.
• Maintain and optimize existing test cases.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software stability.
• Design and implement automated UI tests, API tests, and performance/load tests.
• Fluent English skills for communication within an international team; German skills are optional.
• A passion for solving complex problems and a hands-on mentality.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester, Automation Tester, or in a similar role.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in manual and exploratory testing.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools such as Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
• Proficiency with Jira and SQL Server for test data management.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and its complexities.
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of customer requirements.
• Bonus: Knowledge of one or more programming languages.
