Admissions Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Admissions Specialist I will be responsible for fielding admissions inquiries and will serve as the front door for families seeking care with Equip, a leading virtual eating disorder treatment program.

• Field admissions inquiries and serve as the first point of contact for families.
• Document relevant data into Equip’s EMR software.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet patient needs.
• Build relationships with referring providers.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to drive treatment urgency.
• Monitor medical records and collaborate on admissions criteria.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in managing sensitive information.
• Empathetically relate to patients and families.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in mental health admissions or sales.
• Degree in psychology, business administration, or health-related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills.
• Adept at data collection and analysis.
• Understanding of the healthcare landscape.
• Excellent organizational and conflict management skills.
• Passion for the mission and values of Equip.
• Spanish speaker preferred.
