Indigenous Intern - Mortgage Services Summer 2025 - Remote

Overview

This internship offers Indigenous students the chance to gain valuable experience in the mortgage services sector while conducting meaningful research and collaborating with various teams.

In Short

• Work across various teams within Mortgage Services on a rotational basis.
• Understand and follow policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Conduct research on systemic barriers to mortgages for Indigenous peoples.
• Collaborate with peer Indigenous Interns.
• Develop and deliver a final paper/report with findings.
• Support business group initiatives and day-to-day operations.
• Participate in meetings and contribute insights.
• Implement process improvements collaboratively.
• Support additional administrative or project-based tasks as needed.

Requirements

• MUST be an Indigenous student currently enrolled in or a recent graduate.
• Preferably graduating April 2025.
• Business and financial knowledge is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to source research ethically.
