Overview

The Lead Support Technician for the Northeast region at Motorola Solutions will oversee and provide operational support to field teams, ensuring efficient execution of activities and effective communication between leadership and team members.

In Short

  • Supervise and support field teams' operations.
  • Act as a communication focal point between leadership and field teams.
  • Develop and implement detailed activity plans.
  • Provide proactive customer service support.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with teams and clients.
  • Manage critical support tickets and perform level 1 troubleshooting.
  • Prepare reports on ticket closures and operational procedures.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Optimize site performance and conduct installations.
  • Travel requirement of 50% to 75%.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic or related fields.
  • Experience in communication systems deployment and support.
  • Experience in supervising technical teams.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication systems.
  • Proficiency in networking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with video infrastructure and structured cabling.
  • Proficiency in Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Intermediate English communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Availability for travel.
