Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and fluent English-speaking Data Analyst to join our team and take on the critical role of managing and analyzing data to drive informed business decisions.

In Short

• Gather, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract data for analysis and reporting needs.
• Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with other data professionals to support advanced analytics projects.
• Assist in the development of data models to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure consistency and accuracy across datasets.
• Utilize Matomo, or other user tracking tools to analyze and interpret user engagement and behavior data.
• Present data findings, in fluent English, to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate data insights effectively.

Requirements

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role or similar.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query writing and data manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and report creation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and complex formulas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create and deliver engaging presentations.
• Experience with Matomo, Google Analytics or other user tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
