Overview

The Technical Project Manager will serve as the technical interface for all customer projects, liaising with the engineering team behind the scenes. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation of customer projects, including go-live, integrations, bespoke apps, migrations, and data projects.

In Short

  • Technical point of contact for customers during project implementations.
  • Analyse customers' business requirements and turn them into clever technical solutions.
  • Work with customers on the setup and use of their platforms.
  • Create data migration plans and implement them for customers.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand and communicate technical requirements.
  • Liaise with the data and strategy team to implement prototype or beta services.
  • Keep all projects on point by collaborating with the Head of Customer Projects.
  • Provide technical support to the customer projects/implementation team.
  • Collaboratively work with sales at the pre-sales stage.
  • Feedback into the product team to productise repeatable bespoke projects.

Requirements

  • Must have worked for a B2B technology company, preferably SaaS.
  • Broad technical experience in an engineering, development or technical pre-sales role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Extensive experience with databases such as Postgres and MySQL.
  • Experience working with APIs and defining business logic.
  • Experience with data migrations or data cleaning is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic internet technologies such as DNS, SMTP and HTML.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Project management skills (agile and waterfall) - certification(s) would be a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
