Overview

The PLC, SCADA, and Alarm Software Programmer is responsible for the technical implementation and project leadership of various automation projects, including PLC replacements and SCADA system upgrades.

In Short

• Lead projects for replacing end-of-life PLCs across installations in Flanders.
• Upgrade stand-alone SCADA systems from FIX32 to iFIX.
• Support the integration of central alarm software migrations.
• Collaborate with operational teams and contractors.
• Work on-site three days a week with two remote workdays allowed.
• Report to the Manager of OT-Solutions.
• Coordinate with other engineers across OT, IT, and Operations departments.
• Ensure good collaboration within the project team.

Requirements

• Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in PLC programming.
• Proficient in SCADA and alarm software integration.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Experience with EPlan and shutdown projects.
• Expertise in M580 and PL7 PLC programming.
• Knowledge of Derdack and Signl4 alarm software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel to installations as needed.
