IoT Engineer / Developer - Remote

Overview

The IoT Engineer / Developer will work on various industrial automation and digitization projects, focusing on the integration of new IoT technologies and supporting the team with technical documentation and hands-on development.

In Short

• Work on tenders and develop various use cases until project delivery.
• Collaborate with an experienced team on IoT projects.
• Integrate a new MQTT broker and initiate use cases with Edge hardware.
• Design technical, functional, and test documents like URS, FDS, FAT/SAT.
• Hands-on development of IT and OT software applications as needed.
• Focus on IoT, IT/OT convergence, Edge devices, and PLCs.
• Work primarily at the headquarters in Aartselaar, with 2 days remote work allowed.
• Report to the Product Owner and collaborate with other engineers.

Requirements

• Higher education in software or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IoT, automation, and IT/OT.
• Familiarity with message queues (MQ), PLCs, and Python.
• Experience with V-model testing (URS, FDS, FAT/SAT).
• Proficient in Dutch and English.
